DWLT 4: On-Demand Ridepooling

DWLT 4 addresses the vision of Collective Transport 2.0 - a fully demand-driven, shared local transport system as a systemic alternative to private motorized transport. Based on the VISUM model of the Greater Magdeburg region, the SUMO simulation environment, and the RidePy on-demand library, a digital experimental platform is being established that simulates collective ride-pooling systems under real-world demand conditions and gradually integrates them into planning practice.

Integration and adaptation of the VISUM model for the Greater Magdeburg region
Development of full on-demand scenarios
What-if simulation of collective on-demand ride-pooling systems
Refinement and expansion of parameters as well as practical application
